While I knew my webpage was graphics heavy, I wasn't aware of just HOW heavy it actually was:
IMAGES_SIZE - Warning! The total size of your images is 1119661 bytes, which is over 100K. Consider switch graphic formats to achive smaller file sizes (from JPEG to PNG for example). Finally, substitute CSS techniques for graphics techniques to create colored borders, backgrounds, and spacing.
To say the least: YIKES! I do want to redo the website, and the design I've been punching around in my head is very minimalistic. (Which probably has something to do with the pendulum swinging violently away from the cluttered gaudy look I've been working with recently.)
There were a few other things I need to take care of as well, but they are mostly related to how large and plentiful the current images are, and thus will be solved in relation to changing the layout.
Looking forward to making my portfolio more streamlined, thats for sure.
